Welcome! I have been working behind the chair for 8 years now. I began my career as an assistant and worked commission at my first salon for 3 years. I took a leap of faith and started my small business @hairxbailee at Salon Lofts in April of 2018. After 3 years of hard work and building my dream clientele, I teamed up with my business partner and best friend to open @columbusproper! We have poured our heart and soul into this space and cannot wait to see what the future holds for us. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband Kendal, and our son Khari, catching up with my family and friends, folding laundry while watching my favorite YouTubers, and working out when I get the chance. I share such a special bond with my clients, and hope their time spent in my chair is always full of laughs and the best chats as I help enhance their natural beauty.
Hey everyone! I’ve been in hair industry now for close to 9 years now. I started my career working at a commission salon where I spent 4+ years. After learning a lot, I decided to take a leap of faith & move to an independent booth rent salon & started @beautybyjessiev5. I used the next 2.5 years to build my brand & fine tune my specialties. It was then time to join talents with my best friend & make our dreams come true by opening @columbusproper!
I specialize in lived-in, dimensional hair coloring that will look beautiful months later. I also have a love for hand-tied extensions.
I spend my free time hanging out with my boyfriend & our 6 month old daughter named Tillie Mae. If I’m not with them, I’m at the gym, yoga or getting drinks with my girlfriends.

With five years of experience in the hair industry, I am a skilled and dedicated hairstylist. My background includes working in commission-based salon settings, as well as operating as an independent stylist for the past three years. As an independent stylist, I am able to provide a more personalized experience for my clients. I am thrilled to be a part of the team at Columbus Proper, where I am able to build and maintain relationships while creating beautiful hairstyles. I am committed to ongoing education and staying up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in the hair industry to ensure that my clients receive the best service possible. My areas of expertise include versatile blonding and creating dimensional brunette and blond looks. I am passionate about my work and look forward to continuing to grow and develop my career.
